Frequently Asked Questions

  • This interactive experience is an opportunity for students to enhance lifelong employability skills and attitudes for future success in both college and the working world.

  • GEAR UP staff will transport students to and from the summer camp. GEAR UP staff members are district employees of the school your student attends.

  • Students are staying on campus and will be assigned a roommate. All students must be in their rooms between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Overnight security is on duty during the overnight hours.

  • A suggested packing list will be provided once registration is complete, but students should plan to dress accordingly for an indoor/outdoor camp. Casual and comfortable clothing is appropriate, and all attendees will receive a t-shirt to be worn on day two of camp!
