Have you ever had your life turned upside down? Well on one June morning A.J. literally ended up that way, upside down (suspended in mid-air) and asking himself “How did I end up here?”
Trying to answer that question has led him on a journey of self-reflection and self-discovery that has led to a simple but powerful formula for taking control of life and achieving your goals.
A.J. will engage audiences with his energy, charisma, and quick wit while helping them navigate major pitfalls and learn to listen to their inner voice that guides them to make better decisions. Audiences will walk away able to live life more intentionally and with purpose.
A.J. Watson is an executive trainer at FOCUS training and a committed student of leadership. With his energy, charisma, and passion he has been training others to better understand the principles of teamwork, effective communication, vision development, and professionalism for more than 12 years.

A.J. holds a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategy and Management from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Howard University.
A.J.’s professional career includes work in finance, sales and talent management for Fortune 200 companies, educational non-profits, and political campaigns. He has led several projects including a company-wide diversity symposium and candidate events with former President Bill Clinton and pop star Will.i.am. A.J. is also an active member of the community, volunteering and delivering financial literacy seminars to youth.
A.J. is an active alumnus of the Howard University and University of Michigan student government and Greek systems, having held executive offices in both. A.J. honed his leadership and facilitation skills while serving as a state and national officer of an international student organization.
